Look - I'm not sticking up for a Tim Houston government here, I think he's progressively doing a worse job, BUT, this has gone on long enough that it's obviously a failure on BOTH sides.

Tuning into the least-likeable Stanley Cup Final in history we see the referees handing the Golden Knights overtime on a silver platter. Splendid.

Punt-y result notwithstanding, this was a great game to start the #CFL season. A nice highlight reel for a casual fan, too.

Ticats certainly let this one slip away.

A pick-six, an OT turnover, a 2nd & 23 that turns into a first down, and the team on the other side - great as they are - gifting you almost 120 yards in penalties.

Not that the Als didn't earn it, but this was a punt by Hamilton.

A few notes on those changes -

I think it's important to withhold judgment on the changes until we have more data, but in general, if these changes led (even in part) to this new rights deal and a bunch of new money - it's probably worth it.

Though I miss DFS-style #CFLfantasy.
