@Doob245841@ElonomyX Epstein Files obsession is low hanging fruit for retards. It’s red meat for libtards who started caring about it when they found out they’re on the wrong side of every 70/30 policy.
JD Vance just gave the clearest breakdown of the Trump vs. Obama Iran deal distinction I've heard.
Here it is — the Gulf State test:
The Gulf Coast Coalition loves this deal.
They hated the Obama deal.
Why?
They thought Obama made Iran stronger.
They think Trump makes Iran weaker.
Vance: "They know more about this, and they have more to lose than anybody, including the USA. So I trust their judgment."
The negotiating position:
Obama in 2015: Iran has a sophisticated nuclear program. Let's bribe them with American money to stop it.
Trump in 2026: We already destroyed your nuclear program. Promise not to rebuild it, and you get some sanctions relief.
One is negotiating from fear.
The other is negotiating from rubble.
The substance:
"The Obama nuclear deal allowed enrichment, ours will not."
"The Obama deal allowed the accumulation of stockpiled weapons-grade material, ours is actually leading to the destruction of that stockpile of enriched material."
"The Obama deal gave them over a billion dollars of American money. This deal gives them $0 of American money."
Bottom line from @JDVance:
"We're coming at it from a position of strength, and the fact that our gulf coast partners love this deal."
Good for you doing the research-Maher is older and tends to use outdated numbers. However, his stats aren’t that far off as compared to a celebrity like Mandel who just regurgitates msm/algo talking points.
Where Maher is wrong, imo, is where he tries to compare the US to other countries-there is no comparison, we are unique. Our country was founded behind firearm ownership and we have more guns than population.
Also, 2021 was the first year FBI crime stats upgraded from the older SRS system to NIBRS. The system is only as good as the data law enforcement agencies upload to it. There were major agencies that did not report to it initially because of technical issues-it wasn’t until 2023 that 95% of agencies were reporting correctly.
Also, stats are so easy to misrepresent or omit. Politicians will conveniently use/not use per capita statistics, which makes a difference.
Liberal Professor Roland Fryer of Harvard set out to prove there was racial profiling in policing regarding black encounters-his report found the opposite..it’s open source and on the web.
@JessicaTarlov No sticks? What’s the “we will drop bombs on their heads” if they break the deal?
You have TDS and therefore just another emotional lefty.
@Biomaven@wong_guey@nickgillespie@reason@CliffordAsness It’s simple, the minute government got involved with student loans, colleges knew they could raise tuition every year and the enrollment levels would never drop. Get government out and force universities to charge less for worthless degrees.
Older heads have always thought if inflation was low, you needed higher unemployment to keep it low. Meaning, the Fed’s old policies and philosophies thought you couldn’t have one without the other-a self fulfilling prophecy— a choice as he put it, as opposed to both unemployment and inflation being low together.
@kiosk987@benjamincowen What on earth are you talking about? Powell was a retard who stood by as Biden over-stimulated the recovering economy…he also lowered rates before an election inflation was still high. Powell will go down as one of worst, imo.
