Fair concern. That is exactly the right question to ask about any Bitcoin wallet.

TZUR is self-custody. We do not hold user funds, we do not create accounts, and we do not have server-side access to private keys or recovery phrases. The wallet is designed so the seed and keys stay on the user’s device, and transactions are signed locally. The site already states that TZUR is non-custodial, Bitcoin-only, uses BIP-39, BIP-32 and BIP-84, and that we never hold the user’s keys or recovery phrase.

That said, you are right about one thing: our public documentation should include a dedicated security section. We should not expect people to trust marketing claims. We are adding clearer documentation covering key generation, local storage, recovery phrase handling, transaction signing, Electrum communication, and what our servers can and cannot see.

The honest answer is simple: if a wallet company can steal from users later, it is not real self-custody. TZUR is built specifically so that we cannot do that. You should still verify, test with small amounts first, and only use any wallet once you understand its security model.
