Seeing a lot of fear about this MEXC notice ๐
"Temporary Suspension of CORE Deposits/Withdrawals"
Let me break it down for Coretoshi:
[1/3]
Key line: "As requested by the Core project team"
This means Core initiated it.
Not MEXC. Not a problem. Just maintenance.
[2/3]
Why do this?
Upgrades, wallet maintenance, chain updates.
Every major L1 does this. BTC, ETH, SOL all do it.
[3/3]
So relax.
Funds are safe.
Trading likely still open.
Everything will be okay ๐
Builders build. FUDers panic.
$CORE ๐ง
Just left the $BTrees Launch Party Space ๐๐ณ
@Treegens went CRAZY:

Treegens is not just NFT, it's a movement.
I'm ready to push it in Africa ๐
Who was in the Space with me? ๐
Good catch @MasoudUmar
That 0% stCore is NOT APY, it's the share of total BTC hash power that comes from liquid staked CORE.
Right now it's 0% because:
1. Most people stake CORE directly to validators, not via liquid staking (stCORE)
2. Liquid staking (stCORE / LstBTC) is still new, less adoption
3. That metric only counts CORE staked through partner protocols like Pell, Colend, etc.
Your direct staking on https://t.co/fHsOXcMY5S still earns yield โ it's counted under "Total CORE Staked" not there.
If you want stCORE yield, you need to liquid stake via https://t.co/Pnbvf8zy2E or stakedao
@Coredao_Org should rename that metric, it's confusing many people.
Touch Grass Tuesday done right ๐ฑ
@treegens really said "we ARE the grass" ๐
This is why I rock with Treegens โ
Not just another PFP project, they live the meme.
Real grass. Real trees. Real impact.
If we hit 1B trees in 24hrs on March 21st, this whole logo will be REAL forest.
Who else is touching grass
Great question!
Yes @treegens actually geotags them. Every Treegen NFT has a dashboard where you can see your real trees โ GPS location, species, planting partner + growth updates.
It's why BBC/CNBC covered them. Fully transparent.
When you mint, you can literally track your forest.
Let me know when you mint yours ๐ฑ

Let's make history!
Real talk, you're right value is suffering.
SatPay didn't stop - it's now inside Rev+ / Core Pay.
Team chose 1 big payments infra over 1 small app.
CoLend delisting CORE is normal risk management in a down market.
We don't need hype launches. We need one launch that brings real BTC TVL. That's what Rev+ is for.
Senator Cynthia Lummis just posted: "Big things are coming ๐"
She's not being vague.
Tomorrow Sept 15 at 2:15pm ET the Senate votes on cloture for the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.
This is the bill Lummis, Scott, and Boozman just released the "final draft" of.
It has 126 Dem-requested changes.
If cloture passes:
โ CFTC regulates Digital Commodities
โ SEC regulates Investment Contracts
โ Banks regulate Payment Stablecoins
If it fails: We wait till 2027.
Lummis has been pushing crypto clarity for years.
"Big things" = We finally get a rulebook instead of regulation by enforcement.
2:15pm ET tomorrow. Mark it ๐ถ
TOMORROW: 2:15pm ET
Senate CLOTURE VOTE on the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.
Not to pass it. Just to decide IF we debate it.
Need 60 votes.
Win = Congress writes crypto rules
Lose = SEC/CFTC keep fighting in court
Gateway, not destination.
We get clarity tomorrow.
Laughing doesn't change tokenomics bro.
40% = 839.9M CORE for Node Mining over 81 years.
That's literally in the whitepaper since day 1.
You can verify it on-chain. Mining rewards emit daily to validators.
Disagree with the model? Cool.
Call people idiots? That just makes you look bad.
@Belayneshsenbet Sept 2023 was about Team/Contributor unlocks being paused.
Mining and ecosystem rewards were always scheduled.
2.1B total supply. We're halfway there in year 3.
The slow part - 40% mining over 81 years - is what matters long term.
Let's ask for transparency, not panic.
Seeing a lot of talk about "1.5B CORE released in 4 years vs 0.6B in 77 years"
Hereโs the context everyone is missing:
The early supply funded miners, ecosystem grants, and BTCfi adoption.
Thatโs why Core grew so fast.
The 77 year tail = long term alignment. No massive dumps later.
This is how you build something that lasts decades.
Core is playing the long game. Still day 1 ๐ถ
#CORE #BTCfi @Mubarakbinamin
Good question bro.
The 600M you're calculating is likely from current emission rate.
But Core tokenomics has multiple unlock schedules:
1. Node Mining 40% = 839.9M over 81 YEARS. This is the long tail.
2. Contributors 15% + Treasury 9.5% + Reserves 10% = have their own vesting, some end ~2030.
So yes, a big chunk vests in ~5-6 years.
But mining continues for 81 years after that.
That's how you get to 77 years total.
Not all supply unlocks at the same speed.
Seeing @Mubarakbinamin's thread on CORE tokenomics going around.
Let's break it down because the community deserves clarity:
1. 1.5B CORE released early = bootstrapping phase
Miners, grants, ecosystem, exchanges. You can't build BTCfi with 0 fuel.
2. 0.6B left over 77 years = long term alignment
No massive unlocks/dumps in 2030. This protects holders long term.
3. Buybacks - fair question. @Coredao_Org should update us on status.
Questions are healthy. FUD isn't.
Core is playing the 100 year game, not 4 year
Core tokenomics in 30 seconds:
40% - Miners, over 81 years. Long term security
25% - Community airdrop at launch
15% - Devs, vested
10% - Foundation ops
9.5% - Ecosystem grants
0.5% - Cross-chain
The big unlocks already happened.
The 81 year mining schedule is what prevents future dumps.
This is designed for decades, not 1 cycle ๐ถ
CORE TOKENOMICS EXPLAINED IN 1 MINUTE ๐งต
Total Supply: 2.1 Billion CORE
1. Node Mining - 40% | 839.9M CORE
Paid to validators over 81 YEARS. This is Core's "Bitcoin mining".
Slow emissions = no supply shock later.
2. Users - 25% | 525.6M CORE
Community airdrop at genesis. Already distributed to early miners.
3. Contributors - 15% | 315M CORE
Devs and builders. Vested over years.
4. Reserves - 10% | 210M CORE
Foundation operations.
5. Treasury - 9.5% | 199.5M CORE
Ecosystem grants for BTCfi dApps.
6. Relayers - 0.5% | 10M CORE
Cross-chain incentives.
The long 81-year mining schedule is what makes Core different.
Built for decades, not 1 bull run.
What questions do you have? ๐ @Mubarakbinamin
Bro letโs keep it civil ๐
We can question tokenomics without calling people fraudsters or bringing nationality into it.
Core hasn't had a real bull run yet. Thatโs exactly why we need real questions + real answers from @Coredao_Org
FUD or fanboy doesn't help. Building + transparency does.
@Mubarakbinamin
Questions about tokenomics are valid.
But let's keep it constructive.
Core DAO didn't invite anyone. We all chose to build/join because we believe in BTCfi.
Building through a bear, paying miners, funding devs... that costs.
The long vesting is actually what protects holders long term.
Want to change things? Build. Propose. Vote in DAO.
That's how decentralized projects work.
