I’ve been shown unreleased footage of Sunday’s SBU drone attack. I can confirm at least two A-50 AWACS aircraft were struck by drones; the FPV drones landing directly on the radar domes before detonating.

Multiple Tu-22M3s can also be seen struck in the footage.

Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk delivered a report regarding today’s operation. An absolutely brilliant result. A result achieved solely by Ukraine. One year, six months, and nine days from the start of planning to effective execution. Our most long-range operation. Our people involved in preparing the operation were withdrawn from Russian territory in time. I thanked General Maliuk for this success of Ukraine. I instructed the Security Service of Ukraine to inform the public about the details and results of the operation that can be disclosed. Of course, not everything can be revealed at this moment, but these are Ukrainian actions that will undoubtedly be in history books. Ukraine is defending itself, and rightly so – we are doing everything to make Russia feel the need to end this war. Russia started this war, Russia must end it. Glory to Ukraine!

Great to see that the world is waking up to revenue sharing models to dapps and their respective ecosystem

The only issue with Sonic’s wonderful concept is that tx fees are small on high performance chains — the more performance you have, the less fees should become…

As a result, I don’t think this model will produce enough transaction fees to significantly move the needle. I may be wrong here but that’s the intuition.

In fact, us at @SUPRA_Labs have been cooking up novel business models we think will absolutely dominate tx fees:

System-level auto-arbitrage and auto-liquidations every single block.

External entities on Solana extracted over $140m worth of arbitrage value from their chain last year, according to @heliuslabs

Also, liquidations may carry a 1% fee and many billions get liquidated every year…
On Supra, we plan for these revenue to be shared with dapps, node operators, and our network owned liquidity (treasury).

We do this while simultaneously aiming to make toxic MEV less feasible.

This is extremely exciting for Supra since we accomplish the following:
1. Potentially lucrative revenue model that may be orders-of-magnitude larger than tx fees
2. Simultaneously, Defi on Supra becomes more solvent and balanced leading towards better Execution Quality for end consumers
3. Less MEV is extracted and the value remains with our ecosystem.

I haven’t seen a better revenue generating model than this for a Layer1 before, it may position Supra to be the best performing infra for DeFi while also generating perhaps the most revenue for stakeholders, ecosystem, and community — time will tell but these concepts are radical and Supra is extremely excited to bring them to life.

P.s.
tx fees still count, but we believe our model is going to generate much more value while keeping Supra defi healthy.
