Your ENS has been sitting idle in your wallet.
Starting today it can do two things at once:
> make ENS governance stronger
> and earn you rewards from the ENS DAO
The ENS Delegation Incentives Program is live.
Everything you should know before delegating your ENS. 🧵
The ENS Delegation Incentives Program rewards you for delegating your voting power to active delegates, and below are the questions we hear most.
Which delegates qualify?
Only active ones, meaning a delegate must have voted in at least 7 of the last 10 on-chain proposals, so the program rewards real participation rather than just a profile.
You can check any delegate's eligibility in real time at https://t.co/62LrZU9x8M
Many DAOs give rewards to delegates that always vote.
For ENS DAO I believe the correct path to increase governance participation is to reward holders that delegate to active voters.
Shake the dust out of your $ENS and delegate now!
Is ENS DAO Dead?
Nick Johnson is using his voting power to hand ENS's treasury to a Foundation.
@nicksdjohnson and ENS delegate @alextnetto, who says the plan "marks the downfall of ENS," discuss live.
@blockchainjames joins right after.

@scoutingcapie Nope, not gated to us.
If your ENS is delegated to an active delegate when a round is calculated, you're in - whether you delegated through our site, https://t.co/BIMb4miRxL, or any other tool.

The ENS Delegation Incentives Program is live.
Fair question, and yes, it's legit.
This is an ENS DAO program: drafted as a proposal, passed a Snapshot vote Feb 10, and funded by the ENS DAO treasury. blockful helped shape the proposal and built the platform to run it.

Big appreciation to the team at @blockful_io for their dedication and creative efforts to support ENS🫡 You and your friends can all earn by delegating your ethereum:0xc18360217d8f7ab5e7c516566761ea12ce7f9d72
This is an @ENS_DAO program.
The full mechanics, eligibility, and repository are on the ENS forum, and any questions are welcome.
The program runs through September 30.
Delegate in under a minute: https://t.co/62LrZU8Zje
It takes one signature.
Your tokens never leave your wallet, the delegation is gasless, and each month the DAO distributes ENS rewards to holders who delegate to an active voter.
The more holders join, the larger the rewards pool for everyone.
I am proud of the DAO expenditures. We onboarded a lot of new talent that could not all fit inside one team at labs. I happen to have all this data thanks to @danch_quixote and the attack profitability dashboard is the work of @alextnetto at @blockful_io.
A malicious proposal nearly switched Tornado Cash off.
It was caught because a few researchers decompiled and reviewed the contract in time, not because any system was watching.
@anticapture exists so catching it never comes down to luck.

[ID] #67 · “Establishing 0.5% Fee Standard and 90% Dynamic Deflationary Burn Plan”
On June 25, a new address submitted it to governance.
On the surface, a change to relayer fees with a new token burn.
Underneath, a governance attack built to take the protocol offline.
Here's how it would have worked, and why it matters. 🧵
