Two things I admire here: (1) chasing commercial upside without abandoning the nonprofit public good (Blockspace Forum) and (2) real skin in the game.
I'd love to see more nonprofit orgs pursue a north-star technical vision, self-funded through other sustainable means rather than relying on discretionary funding.
Ideally would also prefer to see the nonprofit side holding equity in the for-profit, so the for-profit stays accountable rather than being able to walk away at any time !
1/3 We're excited to back @blockspace_eth - The Ethereum Infrastructure Company, building its next generation rails. As Ethereum evolves, Blockspace is building the infrastructure that helps its blockspace economy scale.

You love to see it. More commercially focused teams are going deep into Ethereum's plumbing.
Big fan of @mostlyblocks and @DrewVdW so can't wait to see what the @Blockspace_ETH team will do!
Excited to back the Blockspace team!
Ethereum’s core product is blockspace, and the infrastructure that delivers it should be as robust, open, and economically aligned with Ethereum as the protocol itself. This team has the depth and long term commitment to help make that happen.
That is why Stakely is glad to support @Blockspace_ETH alongside other Ethereum ecosystem teams.
We care about the rails that decide whether Ethereum blockspace becomes more robust, open and useful over time.

Slowly, then suddenly
The Ethereum ecosystem is growing at a rapid pace
Ethereum wins? They win
And I'll take that one bit further - Ethereum wins? They win, and ETH wins
We are proud to back @BlockSpace_ETH, alongside @blueyard, @Sharplink, and a group of teams from across Ethereum. Today more than 90% of Ethereum's blockspace flows through out-of-protocol infrastructure, and the gaps in that layer land directly on Ethereum and its users. Blockspace is the full-time commercial team built to close them, monetizing entirely in ETH and self-capping stake at 15%. Ethereum wins, Blockspace wins. That is our kind of alignment.
Ethereum produces the raw commodity. A supply chain outside the protocol refines it into blocks, and over 90% of blockspace runs through that supply chain today.
We need commercially driven companies that are sustainable long term, with incentives that line up with Ethereum's.
Super proud that @gattacahq & @ultrasoundmoney came together to lay the foundations for Blockspace to be one of them. And it's an honour to work with @DrewVdW, @mostlyblocks, and the Blockspace team to push this forward.
Ethereum's blockspace is one of its most valuable commodities. Sharplink supports innovation in this area as the institutional supercycle unlocks step-function growth for the ecosystem. That's why we're investing in @BlockSpace_ETH and their all-star team.
Excited to announce that I've been leading research at Blockspace for multiple months now.
More than 90% of blocks are constructed out-of-protocol. Improving this process will benefit Ethereum, originators, validators, builders...
When Ethereum and ETH win, Blockspace wins.
Expect tangible improvements within weeks.
Blockspace: Connecting the world to Ethereum. Proud to help drive this organization. After working on a non-profit supporting Ethereum for the last few years, I am very excited to drive a commercial effort whose direct success comes from a thriving Ethereum. The ticker is ETH.
