I've been teaching our 7 year old to cook using some of @chefanneburrell 's methods (slices/sticks/dices for cutting for example) and during a nap today I had a dream that she, my son and I kept screaming "BROWN FOOD TASTES GOOD!"

It is sometimes hard to gauge how much pain a child is in. I just let my son rip up two cardboard boxes (that were going to be trashed anyway) as stress relief. It was heartbreaking to watch.
