This really goes to show how out-of-touch Microsoft is. They know people want Windows to be lightweight, but they still think AI built in to the OS is just fine, even though that not only is it abundantly clear that this is absolutely NOT something people want, it is something that is absolutely not acceptable.

Amodei has said that the jailbreak is a general type of jailbreak that is similar to jailbreaks that work with every other AI model, including the latest ChatGPT. It is not really possible to patch without extreme levels of nerfing, which Fable already is. (For example, it refuses to answer completely legitimate and innocuous questions about biology, or for example search for legions on uploaded MRI scans.) Due to the nature of the design, it's still impossible to completely make jailbreak-proof. I've read multiple blogs from AI jailbreakers who all say the same thing... while it is *possible* to jailbreak Claude, it is the hardest AI out of every other model out there to jailbreak. "Just patch it" as a statement lacks this context.
