And while sure they could cover the US 4 gen straight if they wanted to, with how international the brand is these days I don't think it would fly that well with fans. If you US folks--

It sure as hell is one of the most diverse regions and you'd be lying to yourself if you say otherwise.

But also realize that the representation that the games depict are indeed depictions.

They aren't supposed to be accurate.

And to us, the Unova region encompasses a lot of places and locales that, while not specific, still captures on-

And it's not like the Pokemon games are built only for the US audience so you have to learn to bear with how we see the US as well.

I don't expect you to know specifics of my country, but you shouldn't--

@Salt2Bright @PrimarinaRiver While also acknowledging the perspective of the rest of the world in some way. The US's influence over cinema does skew foreigner's expectation of what the US is like but that's both a blessing and curse you have to deal with I guess.

@Salt2Bright @PrimarinaRiver Towards the fact that it might not be the most accurate or comprehensive depiction of the US, but they surely must have taken into account how the rest of the world sees the US in such a way that they represent the region that meshes with both the expectations of the US fans--
