INR and aPTT are poor predictors of bleeding risk in patients with liver disease. Giving them FFP to "correct" the INR is useless and can also causes harm !

If your physician is telling you that you don’t qualify for IV iron because your serum iron level isn’t low enough they don’t understand iron deficiency.

Focus on the ferritin people.
