This evening Declan responded to an urgent call to transport breast milk from the University Maternity Hospital Limerick to Cork. Declan met up with Blood Bike South in Buttevant. Well done and thanks for the fast response.

Over the last few days our volunteers have been on multiple collections. Jim collected from Tipperary to link up with Blood Bike Dublin. Ignatius and Robin on multiple collections from Ennis, Nenagh and Croom hospitals to the University Hospital Limerick.

Teady on a collection from a private address in Tipperary to link up with Blood Bike Dublin. Meanwhile Ionut headed for an address in Kerry back to Limerick where he picked up from the HSE then onward to Portlaoise to link up with Blood Bikes East. Well done.

Multiple transports this week. From Newcastle West to UHL, then a double link up with Blood Bike South and Blood Bike West. Later in the week a medical package transported from a private address, linking up with Blood Bike Dublin in Newbridge. Well done to all our volunteers.
While most of us were tucked up in bed, Teady was already on the road to an address in Co.Kerry. Handing over in Limerick to Gerry, who also collected from the Neonatal Unit of the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Onwards then to transport to Dublin.
Well done.
