ERC-721 to ERC-6551: Turning NFTs into smart contract wallets?

In 2017, ERC-721 standard paved a way for the tokenization of digital assets and transformed how we conceive of ownership of blockchain assets, also it enabled developers to construct NFTs that signify ownership of an exclusive digital asset.

Now, The new ERC-6551 standard is ready to revolutionize NFTs as it will turn your NFTs into Token Bound Accounts (TBAs), so you can send & receive assets with your NFTs!

1.What is ERC-6551?
ERC-6551 is a new token standard that allow NFTs to store additional tokens and NFTs, just like a standard smart contract wallet. In addition, they may communicate with other smart contracts, which opens up a world of opportunities.

2.Some features of ERC-6551 
ERC-6551 enhances the functionality of NFTs
ERC-6551 NFTs will grow into more than ordinary ownership certificates for distinctive digital assets, and engage actively in the blockchain ecosystem by interacting with smart contracts, possessing other tokens, and even symbolizing real-world entities.

ERC-6551 improves the security of NFTs
The token-bound accounts will be recorded immediately on the blockchain, which makes them more resistant to hacking and theft.

ERC-6551 enhances interoperability of NFTs
By turning NFTs into wallet addresses, then it can hold assets, and connect to other Dapps, which will also bring a broader audience of users.
