A new method of producing CAR T therapy within the body could offer a faster and more accessible way to treat people with relapsing-remitting myeloma. The research, presented at #ASH2025, is early stage but extremely promising, as all three patients treated remain in remission.

Stem cell transplants can be life-saving for people with myeloma, replenishing damaged immune cells. But sometimes, these cells don’t grow enough to eliminate cancer, or grow too much and attack the body.

Blenrep will be available in England, Wales and Northern Ireland as a second line treatment. Used with 'BorDex' therapy, clinical trials showed blenrep improved outcomes.
