Lavender tea can be made from the dried flowers of the plant. For hot tea, place ½ teaspoon of flowers in one cup of boiling water and let steep for five minutes. For cold tea, allow the mixture to steep for 12 hours in the refrigerator.

Ginger is a great remedy for soothing an upset stomach. Peel and grate a one-inch slice of fresh ginger root. Add to two cups of boiling water; mix in honey and fresh sliced lemon or lemon juice and feel better fast!
