Introducing Brendan Erwin! As a senior, Brendan realized that there’s too much prejudice and discrimination in the world. He joined SSA because he “believes everyone —no matter what race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion—should be treated equal.” 👏#BloomSSA #SSAspotlight

Next is Dana Lee! She may only be a freshman, but that doesn’t stop her from leading SSA activities! Dana has helped organize events such as No-Name Calling Week. After attending the Diversity Conference at BU, she became inspired to make her voice heard! #BloomSSA #SSAspotlight

First up, Jamie Nguyen! Jamie is a current sophomore, a proud Asian-American, a LGBTQ ally, and an important member of SSA. She joined SSA, “to help fight racism and sexism since I...have seen so much of it.” Thank you Jamie for everything you do! #BloomSSA #SSAspotlight ✨

Everyday, we will recognize one member of SSA who has made a positive impact on BHS. #BloomSSA #SSAspotlight

Explaining SSA’s goals to underclassmen! We can’t wait to see how you all contribute to SSA and BHS.

[Bloom SSA @Bloom_SSA]

We are so excited for all the incoming freshamn to be apart of SSA! Thanks to everyone that came and shared what SSA is a all about!

[Bloom SSA @Bloom_SSA]

SSA does not support a BHS walkout. With recent news that this event is perceived as political activity, SSA is not affiliated with it. While we believe in the power of our students’ voices, it is not our place to comment on political activity.
