I’ve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism. But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. It’s stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. I’ve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnn’s @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to “smile”, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say “No more.”
Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldn’t! And neither should any of us. It’s unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.
Trump came home to New York last night and twenty thousand people booed him through the national anthem so loudly ABC couldn't bury it on the broadcast.
The first sitting president ever to attend an NBA Finals saluted on cue when his face hit the Madison Square Garden jumbotron, and his hometown crowd let him have it.
He watched from a luxury suite belonging to billionaire Knicks owner James Dolan, a longtime friend who poured hundreds of thousands into his campaigns. Jared Kushner was up there. Steve Witkoff. Cabinet secretaries. A box packed with the people who actually run this country.
Outside, working fans stood in airport-style security lines for two hours. Streets were shut for blocks. Watch parties got cancelled. Bars that count on finals nights to make rent sat empty.
The cheapest resale tickets went for over ten thousand dollars. Some courtside seats hit a million.
When a reporter asked Trump about regular people priced out of their own team's biggest night since 1999, he shrugged and said that's the way life goes, that watching on TV is "sort of semi-free."
Sort of semi-free. From a guy who flew in on Marine One from his golf club.
Now look at the other politician in the building.
New York's new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, showed up with a thousand-dollar standing-room-only ticket. He stood for the entire game.
Trump dozed off in the suite. Cameras caught his eyes closed for nearly a minute before he startled awake. He left the game early in the second half.
That placement lands the contrast hardest. Mamdani stood for three hours in standing-room. Trump shut down Midtown to take a nap in a billionaire's box and bail before the fourth quarter.
Trump spent all of 2025 calling Mamdani a communist. When Mamdani won the mayor's race anyway, the White House posted a doctored Knicks logo reading "Trump Is Your President." They had to delete it after the team complained.
One of these men treats New York like a stage prop. The other treats it like a home.
The boos weren't about basketball. They were a verdict from working people watching their team's biggest night get hijacked by a man who's spent fifty years claiming he's one of them while serving everyone but them.
Twenty thousand New Yorkers saw the truth on that screen and said it back to his face.
You caught them. Mom and Dad were going to sell bibles and cell phones, golden sneakers, and NFTs, Chinese watches and cologne but wouldn’t you know someone beat them to the punch. They were left with only one choice write two books like every former First Lady and President has done in modern history.
As a lifelong, avid @Giants fan, I am beyond disappointed & flat out angry @JaxsonDart has chosen to align himself with an unhinged, racist, criminal, lunatic destroying our democracy.
How is this going to go over with his teammates?
This is a terrible look for the org.
@JustBB_Media DUBIE WITH A MOONSHOT. 🚀
Meanwhile, Dana Brown is somewhere celebrating the $2.8 million he saved while Atlanta cashes in on the Gold Glove defense, versatility, clubhouse chemistry, and heartbeat of a winning team. #Astros
When Trump leaves office:
The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department.
The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center.
The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico.
The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom.
Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired.
The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president.
Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference.
The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies.
The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists.
Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it.
The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters.
U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators.
And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.
They played the same game‼️ On the same rink‼️Winning the same gold medal‼️ And they did it with fewer penalties, more shots on goal, and with less funding‼️ They outperformed the men‼️ They are not lesser than‼️
