England vs France.

Tonight at twenty two hundred GMT, England would face France in what could be tagged the most unfascinating match of the mundial. Not just beacuse its between England and France.but each team going into the game in any world cup finals is doing so after nursing the pains of losing a semi final match.

In the case of England and France, the game is between two nations that knows each other. Offically they have met 32 times with England coming tops with 17 wins while 10 wins goes to France and 5 times stalemate.

In the world cup they have met 3 times before today and England still has the upper hand with 2 wins against 1 for France.

The most recent world cup match between them was in Qatar 2022 where France eliminated England in the quarter finals.

Tonight, it shall be a game of ego and records nothing else. While Mbappe after failing shot of reaching the final with a defeat against Spain, would only focus on outscoring Lionel Messi in order to go home with the golden boot. Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham who before now were ranked high on the golden ball list but lost the semi finals to Lionel Messi and Argentina would still want to put up a stellar performance.

Tonight's game would be played only for footballing sake chasing personal records and recognition. It's expected that we woulf see a free flowing end to end game unlike what was experienced in the semi finals between England and Argentina.

We expect a lot of tinkering in the lineupds today to validate how unimportant the game seem to be.

Dider Deschamps overseeing his last game as Les Bleus Manager would still want a win for France. Ngolo Kante might get his last game for France too and other youngsters in the team like Emery might get a start.

Tuchel.who has already made a dismissing statements that they do not want to play the game might also come out with a suprise lineup with people like Rashford and Kobbie Mainno getting starts.

No matter how unimportant the game might appear, when they get into the field with their Nation's barge on their chest, we migjt finally enjoy a scintillating football match.

In the end, I see an emphatic win for France and Mbappe to get a goal.

Spain didnt just beat Argentina, they annihilated and humiliated them. How can you not have a shot on target in 120 minutes.

Anyways, its obvious Argentina never had any game plan on how to win the game except to defend and drag the game to penalties and possibly be lucky.

Spain should understand they are playing a world cup final and utilize even if its a half chance or regret it. Argentina are soaking up the pressure and are waiting for their chance which when they get it, Messi might hurt Spain with it.

I am not expecting a different second half from Argentina but Spain urgency might step up from 70 minutes.

Spain Vs Argentina.

It's world cup final in 30 minutes and we are set to watch Spain take on Argentina for the trophy.

Both teams followed a different route to the final. While Argentina can be said to follow an easy route playing teams like Jordan,Cape Verde, Egypt same cannot be said about Spain wjo faced more sophisticated opposition.

While many feel the match is between Messi and Yamal, it is actually far from it as we have stand out performers from both teams.

In Spanish team, Mikel Merino has come of the bench on 2 occassions to have instant impact. Mikel Oyarzabal has delivered important goals while Rodri and Dani Olmo have dominated midfields.

In Argentina team, while its obvious that Messi has pulled a lot of strings which is evident in his 8 goals and 4 assists, players like Enzo Fernandez, Rodrigo De Paul and Mac Allister has been in beast mode all through the tournament.

The match is actually going to be beyond Messi or Lamine Yamal, its going to be a match of the team.

While Spain is known to dominate teams with their intelligance plays through positioning, Argentina is known to pressure high up the pitch and not allow the opposition have enough spaces.

If they come out too quick to frustrate Spain free flowing game, it might be their greatest undoing.

Argentina should just be calm, absorb the pressure and try to be direct and use the ball well when they get in the final third.

Mostly, we expect a serious war between Messi and Cucurella. Cucurella has not been dribbled by any player in the tournament and he would struggle to keep that record when he meets.Messi tonight.
