Destiny 2 does not feel like a game that is supposed to be ending. This is so stupid. There's so much potential, so much more that can be done better. This can't be it... Not when I'm just getting intrigued with the stories again. We were going to Old Chicago.... i'm so depressed

I've been quieter about it since the big update released, and layoffs hit Bungie - today was the final normal/big patch for Deatiny 2.
I hope the devs still at Bungie are successful, and the devs who were laid off find success in their next position.
Sony? Hope you're happy...
I never played ESO, but as someone who's recently seen their own long running game of choice losing all its devs... You all have my sympathies. Players and Devs. I hope it works out in the end, but with the way the industry is nowadays we need a lot of hope...
Every day I think about Destiny 2. I want to do strikes with my friends. I want to play crucible with my friends. I want to do public events with my friends. I want to run lost sectors for gear with my friends. I want to shoot freaky enemies with my cool gun.
It takes *years* to put together a team of seasoned devs who work well together, know their tools/engine intimately and are passionate about the genre they're working in. It's not an overnight process.
But destroying a team like that is.
Last year, Microsoft made $101 billion in profits, got a $12.5 billion tax break from Trump & paid its CEO $96 million.
This year, itโs raising the price of an Xbox by $150 & eliminating 3,200 jobs.
Please donโt tell me corporate tax breaks create jobs. It never trickles down.
@crazystevied Man I am so sorry. I hope things settle down sooner than later. So much talent, squandered these days. People with lives and families and passion. I truly hope that better days are ahead for you and you colleagues, past, present, and future.
@Ponvyr@Dexerto That doesn't matter lmfao, people are playing it to completion/having no issues/otherwise enjoying it - yet refunding it. It's lame-O shit and is gunna ruin the refund policy for people using it normally.
An indie developer claims over 55,000 players refunded their Steam game after beating it fast enough to qualify for Valve's refund policy
Steam's policy allows players to refund games if they have less than two hours of play time
