Nick brings up something that many people forgot all about including myself.

At the beginning of the pandemic Tucker Carlson drove all the way to Mar-A-Lago
to talk Trump into locking the country down.

Nick also points out several other weird things surrounding Tucker including the fact that he was the only person that was given all of the January 6th footage.

I personally use to like Tucker. But there’s definitely something off about the guy. And you’d be lying to yourself if you said you didn’t notice it too.

For me it’s not even about his opinion on any particular matter. There’s just something about him I can’t quite put my finger on. Once you see it you can’t unsee it.

He has the ability to lie but almost in a disarming manner. Kind of like the kooky uncle that over exaggerates his stories at thanksgiving but you don’t call him out about it because you know he means no harm. Except in Tucker’s case he does mean harm.

What finally rang the alarm 🚨 for me was when Tucker started leaning heavily into his current clueless act.

He pretends to be oblivious to everything. He claims to be unplugged. Says he doesn’t watch the news or read the internet and etc.

Yet he has one of the biggest political shows on Earth and is weighing in on politics and other current world events on an almost daily basis.

And is now supposed to be spearheading some sort of new political movement while playing both sides of the fence with everyone.

Maybe he really is a spook after all.

The fact that Farage's response to Rupert Lowe's offer to make amends and work together was not an immediate "No" (as some in Reform's orbit urged) is significant.

Despite the enmity between the two men, both recognise the current situation is regrettable and unsustainable.

Many in Reform appreciate how Restore has cleared mines and pushed them rightward. They understand their strategy of estranging their base and celebrating every Uniparty defector to court the fictional "centre" was unsuccessful.

With some contrition, Reform are listening to former supporters turned critics. They should be commended for that. They recognise they have a credibility deficit on some issues (deportations, demographics) that they need to rectify, and a lost poll lead to recover.

Also, the accusations made of Farage's leadership style were that he lacks magnanimity, falls out with people permanently, and that Rupert's mistreatment was as unnecessary as it was dishonourable.

An agreement between both men would nullify those accusations, resolve the "split vote", recover credibility, and therefore only be to Reform's benefit.

If Farage and Lowe have an RFK / Trump handshake moment, it will be seismic.

A return to the tone and aesthetics of Restore Britain's launch video. Magnanimous about his expulsion from Reform. Saying nothing that most Reform voters would disagree with.

If Reform wants to put the split in the past, putting Rupert as Treasury Spokesman would be the sensible play.

Similar to Trump shaking hands with RFK and incorporating Make America Healthy Again into the 2024 platform.

A lot of enmity between respective parties, but nothing that can't be resolved with time.
