@pongo_spp@LetsDiscuss2024@TheDJ_King It’s all good though. Haha. Honestly the visual of humans back that far is entertaining lol. Imagine cavemen fighting giant eagle-sized dragonflies.
I know I’m a little late, but why are white people so fucking over sensitive? Seriously, harassing a trans woman of color into deleting her account. What’s wrong with y’all?
When a bipoc person is talking about intersectionality, it behooves you to put yourself in their shoes before immediately treating their words as a personal attack.
When a trans woc says “white trans people are oppressors too,” don’t just fixate on how harsh the wording sounds to you. Stop and ask why she would feel the need to say it. What experiences, patterns, or forms of marginalization is she trying to articulate?
You can disagree with her wording or ask for clarification without making the entire conversation about your own hurt feelings. Intersectionality requires understanding that being oppressed in one axis of identity does not magically make someone incapable of benefiting from, or participating in, oppression along another.
And harassing her off the platform because her message made you angry is ironically a pretty damn good demonstration of why she was talking about power and intersectionality in the first place.
Hey, trans twitter. Can I ask another question?
How and why the hell is Kitty Kimz (aka “I whip myself every time I say the N-word in a rap song”) still here but Victryena isn't?!
@Galagas1997 Thankfully the she deleted the reply, but someone actually tried to argue against what I said. But like…nobody is gonna go “by the way I’m a Leo, is that okay?” Before they have sex so like…I don’t even know
