@Lpoolfc88@Sjopinion10 Contradictory: the French have Palaces because they had a monarchy, so without the monarchy the palaces wouldn't exist and less tourism. The UK's tourism is boosted by our royal family so we wouldn't "do just great" without them.

@TelALFC@Sjopinion10 You do realise that the royal family attracts almost 3 million tourists a year with revenue outstripping the cost. The family also pays gains tax and the family has a significant political leverage.
