Our attempt at (not) 24HR of LeMans lasted not much more than 24 seconds. @iR_MAW would take the wheel for qualifying and the initial stints. Qualifying would prove frustrating; with Mark stating “I just failed to put together a single solid run through Dunlop”. 1/2

The most frustrating part was, qualifying aside - due to our testing pace, our confidence of a solid result was high. A cleanly executed Q lap would have started us ahead of the trouble. Race pace, could have seen us fighting for Top-5. But that’s racing. C’est la vie. Fin 6/6

ended our race before it had started. Behind, the GTE lead had to take to the grass to avoid the car that had initially spun; as it was still rolling, in what appeared to be an attempt to move the car out of the oncoming traffic. On our team radio, stunned silence. 5/6

We may have one or five drivers shuffling their feet, glancing at watches, scouring through old setup notes and - oh yeah - at least two pounding out refamiliayrisation laps in the #MP430 👀 Fingers and toes are crossed; hopeful that #iRacing nail the revamp.

We made it! #iRacingDaytona24 in the books. Done and dusted. 11th in class. Battered and bruised at the line, but happy to have made it. Now @iR_MAW, @henrylewissmith Patrik Flis, Uros Huzjak and Dennis Branch can go and catch up on some much needed sleep.

Since @AC_assettocorsa released the latest version, Mark, Galin and Trevor @UKiRacer have done nothing but turn laps and wax lyrical about the amazing implementation of weather, track, tyres and sound in #ACC It’s all they talk about now. Can’t get them to shut up 👀🙄🤣.

We didn’t manage to nail the absolute best lap in the car so start 8th in class. Mark in the car for the first two stints, followed by Emil. With Patrik and Dennis to join them later.
