@DelReid This is a great post and a welcome relief from all the cheesecake discourse in my feed this week. I think you nailed the ranking order. Bills SB win = strong 50s decade?
@AdamSchefter@BuffaloBills what are you doing? Are you interviewing high school coaches next? Stop torturing the fan base any more than they’ve been tortured this week and just proceed with Daboll at this point. And then focus on the draft.
@penguinusa What a great year for books, @penguinusa - my top 4:
- Theo of Golden
- The Correspondent
- The Umbrella Maker’s Son
- Remarkably Bright Creatures
Great mix of authors and publishers!
@NYTGames - nice job with Pips! It’s a great addition to the existing games in the app. But now I’ll need to wake up even earlier to get them all done. ☕️
@goodreads@goodreads - I’m doing pretty well of late with Amy Poeppel’s work. I read Far and Away during July and am now reading Small Admissions. Such smart, funny writing!
When someone makes an effort to raise awareness for neurological diseases, I listen. My father and uncle succumbed to Parkinson’s, so the collective cause of PD, ALS, and MS is dear to me. @bsw5020 and @sabrevaya did great work with their @iamalsorg documentary. A must watch.
Me, 1994: “I’m dreading writing a two-page essay for English class. Maybe I’ll just take an incomplete.”
Me, 2024: “69,500 words on the side while working, parenting, running, and channeling my inner Bruce Lee - no problem.”

@notthefakeSVP@howardfineman This matches my story of him. The childhood version of me - desperate to get athlete autographs - went to the library, found a book with some home addresses in it, and wrote letters expressing my love of baseball. Brooks sent this card to me. He was the only person who responded.
@LinkedInHelp I am unable to login to my account, despite having multi factor authentication in place, and now my entire public profile seems to be gone. Help, please!
