Is there a way to have a sex scene in the first two chapters without it feeling like it's erotica? It’s meant to show her recklessness, and doubts about tomorrow. To him it's about connection. Could it work, if it's the natural progression of the story?

Towers walked away from the judgment he had just imparted. The cool mountain air bit at his skin, but he didn't react; adrenaline wouldn't let him. His hands still trembled from the recoil of the three rounds that had found their mark.

@DWARussell22 In most cases I totally agree. Jaws was a good book, but a better movie. Would it be a better movie if Hooper was sleeping with the sheriff's wife, or if Hooper died in the cage, or the shark died of exhaustion? Though this is the exception not the rule.
