@UnparalledSens@LalimesMartian Detroit shouldn’t want to re-sign Kane with Larkin gone in the first place. But DeBrincat is more of what’s tying Kane to Detroit in the first place
@crozier97@PhilipBill96923@podgoalzin17 Based on your username, this shouldn’t surprise you… we don’t want Nurse.
Savoie, Howard, a 1st and you’re heading in the right direction
@313Hockey I wouldn’t even wait for the deadline honestly. See if you have any takers for Gibson, Faulk, and Cat this offseason. No point in re-signing Kane.
@StevenBibas@STLNoteFan314@twelcher15 Detroit already wanted to add a 2C this summer. A center is absolutely a must.
Danielson had 7 points in 28 NHL games. Kasper had 19 in 81 games. Neither of those guys are anything to write home about as replacements for Larkin
@AidenHolloran@BruinsDiehards Difference was Detroit was entering the beginning of a rebuild so making a divisional opponent stronger wasn’t a huge deterrent for the near future. This is more of a re-tooling than a full-on rebuild
@WildcatOil@Hockey_Robinson This is FAR from the first time. There are usually a couple 17 year olds that go play college hockey a year early every year. Hell, just for Michigan we’ve had Zach Werenski, Quinn Hughes, Adam Fantilli all graduate high school early to play recently
@JeffChristman11@OctopusThrower_ Someone is gonna overpay for him in this weak free agency class, especially coming off a 30 goal season. I doubt a short term deal is in the cards
@NickThornton25@RFIPRAM@BentleyScotty I mean he’s hitting 38/188 (.202) in his career against lefties. Only 9 of those for extra bases. He doesn’t play against lefties because he’s terrible against lefties.
@Jennife99697952@313Hockey But it doesn’t. Getting a 2C alone isn’t going to impact who is on the top line. Yet it remains a significantly more important need.
If they don’t add a winger in addition to a center, they’ll have to rely on development. If they add just a wing, it’s simply not good enough
@SpenceBrown3@TheExBeliever There are no Roman documents that testify to his life. Just documents written decades later attesting to what Christians believed about him.
There is significant archaeological evidence of Alexander. We’re not relying on later writing.
@Shadynastyy9@SEllisHockey Considering it made this guy think people would question the quality of the NHL, who was on the roster in the first place is pretty important.
But nobody was talking to you in the first place. Get lost. Get over it.
@Jennife99697952@313Hockey A 2C is higher priority than a top 6 winger.
This is just hypothetically assessing the one singular move. Doesn’t mean it would or should be the only move. But if only one move is made, 2C is definitely more important
