I was honored to present a General Assembly resolution to Dr. Fergie Reid Sr., Virginia’s 1st Black legislator since the 19th century, for his 100th birthday. A trailblazing leader & civil rights activist, he opened doors to many history makers & his legacy continues to inspire.

Sadly, I lost my friend and my colleague Charles Falkenberg, his wife Leslie Whittington, their lovely kids Zoe and Dana. 🧸🧸

As we inch closer to sine die, I am happy to report that 7 of my bills have passed both chambers and will be sent to the Governor. My Joint Resolution directing the Joint Commission on Healthcare to study policy solutions to Virginia's fentanyl crisis will be studied in 2025.
