Players: Coaches find out who really likes the game when they open the gym & see who comes in. They find out who really loves the game when they see what players do with their time in the gym. Anyone can go and be in the gym, but the very best use their time for purposeful work!

At the most fundamental level, each of us only has control over 2 things – our attitude and our effort. Those are the only two things we have 100% control over, 100% of the time. And any time spent focused or worried about something outside of our control… is a waste.
Holy Tuesday: Let us remind ourselves, our teammates & our fellow coaches to offer up sufferings, injuries, losses, disappointments, bad calls, mistakes, exhaustion, soreness, heat, cold, snow, rain ... for the good of souls ... just like Jesus offered up His Passion for us.
Players: Believing in yourself is arguably the most important requirement for success! Confidence built through putting in a ton of work, being able to handle criticism, accept coaching & learning to fight through adversity helps you become mentally strong & inspires you to grow.
Players: This off-season is the perfect time to:
*Improve nutrition, strength & flexibility
*Study film
*Create a player notebook, chart your drills & add some 2-a-days
*Add injury reduction exercises & performance training
*Read leadership books
*Work for the role you want

Leaders run the locker room. They organize extra shooting, pick-up games and lifting sessions. They are on a mission to help maximize their team’s potential.

Players: Sports are mentally/physically/emotionally tough, but it can teach you life lessons that you can use regardless of what you do in the future. Grit, discipline, sacrifice, overcoming adversity & strengthening character are just the beginning of where sports can take you!
