I had someone tell me today they can't watch me stream Wuthering Waves because I play Female Rover - while Male Rover is the REAL Rover, and Female Rover's just there for men to goon over.

I love gooning over female characters, just like plenty of women love gooning over male characters, but c'mon bro, why can't people see that Rover is THE character. Irrespective of gender.

I'm cool with people playing MALE or FEMALE. Just like in AKE, NTE, Silver Palace, etc., but when both characters embody the same being - they're the same person.

It's wild that some people can only watch you if you play the gender they believe is the TRUE one, rather than enjoying the content that the developer created to cater to everyone.

If you enjoy playing a certain thing - play it. Don't go to someone else and tell them they're enjoying it incorrectly and should play it your way. Just enjoy it in your own way. Everyone enjoys things differently.
