Back at the desk painting a custom chapter idea I've had. Lots to improve on but happy with how this turned out! #paintingwarhammer #miniaturepainting #warhammer

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@WarhammerHeresy @warhammer To be honest, I've not gotten further than the general colour scheme I want to go for 😅

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Finally sat back down at the painting desk this weekend. Really happy with how this has turned out! #warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity #miniaturepainting

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@bartledub Trying to come up with a custom scheme I like has absolutely become an obsession for me 😂

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Give me every paint I own & a few nights to think about a custom scheme, and I'll paint you the most popular and well known scheme of another faction. A quick test later and..... This is one big cadian. #miniaturepainting #WarhammerCommunity #warhammer40k #WIP

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@bartledub It kind of works, doesn't it? I never really thought about taking the traditional guard scheme and applying it to other models. I think I might make the arms the same gunship green going forward, but other than that I'm liking how it looks

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@MammaMattsson Thanks! I'm trying to get more into painting historical minis and stuff from manufacturers other than the big one. Everything victrix does in their dark age range is so tempting!

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Trying to get myself back into the hobby by painting up some vikings #miniaturepainting #victrix #Vikings #miniatures

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@HereticHobbies I got the alert twice in the space of a few minutes. Scared the hell out of me!

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@Lorgarwasright I like iron hands... successors.

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Still trying to figure out what I want tondo with these guys and whether I wanna do a small force #WarhammerCommunity #AgeofSigmar #miniaturepainting #hobby #WIPWednesday

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Anyone had much luck with darkstar molten metals? I just can't seem to get the hang of them for some reason #WarhammerCommunity #miniaturepainting

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Experiments with fish elves continue. #warhammer #miniaturepainting #WarhammerCommunity #WIP #AgeofSigmar

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@VincentKnotley Of course it's not a drill it's a mince pie.

... Sorry.

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

One day, I'll finish a project BEFORE moving on to the next one. Anyway how are people doing water bases and bone weapons? Just curious... #WIP #WarhammerCommunity #AgeofSigmar #miniaturepainting

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Currently painting some miniatures by @FootsoreUK. These are an absolute joy to paint and some of the most fun I've had painting. Absolutely going to be exploring more of the range! #WIP #miniaturepainting #baronswar

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@VincentKnotley @warhammer Big fan of 2, 5 & 6. Excellent work!

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

Me but miniature painting YouTube and books on Welsh medieval history. I think visiting a bunch of castles in the North got under my skin.

[BlueSparkDrift @BlueSparkDrift]

@sonicsledge Take as long as you need and look after yourself. Love your content and your minis are brilliant pieces. Take a step back and don't stress. Will be looking forward to you feeling up to your usual

Useful to remind ourselves of this:

"I’m closer to a Jamaican born brickie than I am Jacob Rees-Mogg.

I've got more in common with a Polish hotel maid than I do with Nigel Farage.”
