@ChuckFBass It’s the second game when you get back if you stay down there. It’s bad either way. The Niners will probably struggle in week two as it’s hard to be there for a week, come back and be effective.
One thing I’ve become convinced of:
People don’t pay for content.
They pay for context.
The internet has made information abundant. AI has made it even easier to generate.
What’s still rare is hearing how smart operators are actually thinking through the same problems you’re facing.
That’s why I think the best communities aren’t built around content libraries.
They’re built around conversations you can’t have anywhere else.
Partnership leaders often make the partner program the hero.
That is the mistake.
The customer, sales team, or partner is the hero. They already have a mission: grow revenue, enter a market, win a deal, retain a customer.
Your job is to be the guide.
Clarify the opportunity. Remove friction. Build the path. Help them win.
The best partnership teams do not ask, “How do we get people to care about our program?”
They ask, “How do we make their mission easier to complete?”
A quick sneak peek from the State of Partnerships survey.
73% of partnership professionals say AI is saving them 3-5 hours every week.
That’s not the interesting part.
The interesting part is what they’re choosing to do with those hours.
Full results coming soon.
If anyone can generate the same partnership advice…
It isn’t your competitive advantage.
Your advantage is the context you’ve earned:
The customer conversations.
The partner relationships.
The deals you’ve won and lost.
AI amplifies that.
It doesn’t replace it.
Most partner programs fail for one reason.
They’re staffed like relationship functions and measured like sales teams.
Pick one. The teams that pick P&L accountability are the ones that survive the next budget review.
@hasantoxr Not sure this matters, it comes down to value. The best content will be AI aided, the gap between intelligence people with AI and intelligence people without will widen.
Partnerships aren’t about warm fuzzies—they’re about results. Want to 2x your impact? Pick one partner, align on a single metric, and execute like your business depends on it. Most fail by chasing too many shiny objects. Focus wins. What’s your #1 partnership goal? #Partnerships
