Blue Unity welcomes Linfield FC statement this morning which outlines that we have cut ties with Mooneyโs
Nevertheless, we cannot accept that this is the matter now closed and that everything is swept under the carpet.
Once again, the lack of transparency and accountability is evident from a dinosaur board. Our members have been subject to "club investigations" which were based on no photographic or video evidence, but "anonymous information."
It is clear that briefing has taken place to try and pin the blame on one individual. This is yet another example of the self preservation strategy where members will willingly sacrifice each other to keep their blazer.
We await the full results of a club investigation which we fully believe should result in board members resigning.
Support the team, not the regime.
The Linfield board and those above them do not represent Linfield Football Club, they havenโt for a long time.
Numerous protest actions are already prepared, these will continuously escalate until all ties are cut with Mooneyโs and every single board member involved in making this deal is removed from their position.
ALL TOGETHER NOW.
Some of the clubs best nights in recent years have came in European competition, maximum effort from the fans across both the south stand and the KOP is required if we are to push the team on to another famous night at Windsor.

Today, one of our senior members was prohibited from entering Windsor Park.
Having purchased a season ticket, he was given no prior indication that he would be refused entry.
Linfield are happy to take hard earned money from fans whilst refusing entry based on zero evidence of wrongdoing.
Moreover, when speaking with the Chairman and General Manager, he was told he was refused entry, based on โboard members seeing him light a flare at Coleraine away in February.โ No photographic or video evidence.
This is, once again, yet another example of the contempt in which the Linfield board hold ordinary decent supporters. Allowing the IFA to exploit fans through expensive drinks packages and failure to protect fans at away games is only the tip of the iceberg.
The supporters are the lifeblood of our club, the fat cats in blazers would do well to remember that.
Support the team, hate the regime.

Attempts to kill the growing fan scene at among Irish league clubs will only result in a drop of steadily growing attendances, promote positive pyro.
Gerard Lawlor and those at NIFL have no issue promoting pyro when it suits.
