Since Xabi Alonso arrived, we’ve noticed changes everywhere, incomings, tactics, atmosphere, mentality.
But there’s something far more important happening that might not be obvious from the outside yet: accountability.
Xabi seems like the kind of guy who knows exactly what the standards should be. I’m sure his playing career at the best clubs, under the best managers, taught him that there should be no compromise and no negotiation when it comes to quality and standards.
Under him so far: you’re not at Chelsea’s standard, goodbye.
Don’t perform? Here's the bench.
Don’t take things seriously? You don’t travel.
Make mistakes? Consequences.
Do the job? You get rewarded.
No more free passes. No more getting what you haven’t earned.
At Chelsea, you get what you deserve. And honestly, it feels like we’re finally getting our standards back.
“Best transfer window” my ass. “One game a week” my ass.
1. First, they convinced us this was one of the best transfer windows we’ve ever had, while they sold two World Cup winners and replaced them with Chavarria and ZERO midfielders.
2. Then they told us playing only one game a week would be a huge advantage. Yet we’re dealing with injuries all the time, getting tired all the time and looking worse in every second half.
Chelsea have played 5, lost 2, conceded 12 and have a negative goal difference.
Every time I think we’ve hit rock bottom, Chelsea somehow finds a new fucking level.
Wake me up when BlueCo ends.
I honestly wonder how Chelsea can win this game against Brentford in the second half. It’s a really complicated match.
If Alonso somehow manages to get a win tonight, kudos to him. It would be some achievement.

I think we understood against Arsenal that we’re not fighting for the title. We don’t have the squad for it, especially in defence and midfield.
We cannot compete with Arsenal and Man City this year. Just look at their midfields, man. Almost every backup midfielder in those two squads walks straight into our starting XI.
Our fight is with Liverpool, Man United and the teams around that level. Top 5 should be the objective, and honestly, that would be a success.
So the draw against Hull? Not the end of the world. It’s still early, we’re still without Caicedo and Palestra and Xabi is still building.
What does piss me off is how much we sabotaged our own season by not signing a midfielder. We wasted valuable time setting stupid deadlines for clubs, only to not even stick to those deadlines ourselves.
But it is what it is. Let’s be realistic, lower the unnecessary pressure and focus on what this team can actually achieve.
Top 5. That’s the fight.
Prove me wrong Chelsea.
Is this written? How is this even possible? 😭
Lamine Camara scoring an own goal against Strasbourg ..
If Strasbourg wins today I swear that will compensate a bit the rollercoaster of emotions that Chelsea is giving me.
Even with this weird lineup, Gusto on the left, James in midfield, no Lacroix, no Caicedo, yet we will keep our first clean sheet today and score three.
Chelsea 3–0 Hull. Let’s go. #CHEHUL
I just realised something…
Xabi Alonso is doing this WITHOUT 3 of Chelsea’s best players from recent years: Caicedo, Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez. You could even throw Chalobah into that conversation. And some would argue Garnacho too, but that’s another topic lol.
Yet, we’re already playing much better football than we did under the former coach, the bald one.
Now imagine Xabi with Caicedo and Palestra available, another midfielder coming in January, a few more weeks to implement his ideas, and hopefully Colwill getting back to his best.
Yeah… this could get fucking mental.
I have never seen so many stupid, amateurish and unfortunate mistakes from Chelsea in one half. I believe Alonso made a mistake changing everyone in midfield and attack. Those dudes can’t even create a half chance. It hurts to watch. I really hope we change things in the second half.

I’m tired of transfer news already.
The window closed a week ago. Chelsea had SIX MONTHS to prepare for Enzo Fernandez’s sale. They knew it was coming and still didn’t replace him.
Now we’re getting “Chelsea interested in this” and “Chelsea monitoring that.”
Fuck off. Wake me up in January.
Meanwhile let's focus on what we have.
🚨🚨 | The Champions League and European competitions are back TONIGHT.
And while the European nights return, they just won’t feel the same without these two giants.
