You’ll fight govt, and still fight your fellow citizens because we cannot unite as a nation of over 200m people to speak with one voice & stand against what is wrong or the maltreatment of our people by outsiders.
While you’re speaking out, another Nigerian is at one corner promoting those who oppress you simply bcos it doesn’t affect them directly.
They’ll even tell you, “It’s not that serious” or “Why are you so upset?”, especially when they see that it doesn’t directly affect you too. They cannot understand why anyone would stand up & speak against injustice if they are not personally a victim.
We have become so divided, so lacking in shame, principles, & empathy for our own people.

Idk what’s so hard in choosing not to watch that South African series/movie (whatever it is!) Since their xenophobic attacks against Nigerians, years ago, I’ve mentally clocked out of that country entertainment industry! Hell, you won’t even catch me watching a SA YouTuber
