Was surprised to see kids heading to school this morning. Asked why, and apparently some schools aren’t observing the holiday.
I get that not everyone celebrates Eid, but it’s still a public holiday… let the kids rest abeg.
To each their own sha.

ALLAH HAS FULL ABILITY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT! AND ONLY HE (SWT) HAS THAT ABILITY.
Okay so I wasn't going to say anything but... I can't keep this to myself 😭.
Anthropic (yes, the company behind Claude AI) quietly dropped a bunch of completely free AI mastery courses, and they are handing out official certificates at the end.
For $0.00. Zero naira. Nothing. Free.
I stumbled across it on Sunday Abegunde's page yesterday and honestly I almost scrolled past it because it sounded too good to be true. But I went and checked it myself and it is real.
The courses are actually solid, not those shallow "intro to AI" types that just tell you ChatGPT exists.
These ones go deep.
The link is https://t.co/4l6yE1alXw, go check it out, grab a course, grab the cert.
We are literally in the era where the people building the AI are giving away education on how to use it for free. Please don't sleep on this. Your future self will thank you. 🙏
A lot of you are seriously sleeping on Reddit for landing remote gigs.
Everybody’s fighting on LinkedIn.
Everybody’s mass-applying on job boards.
Meanwhile, real opportunities are quietly sitting on Reddit.
There is something we Muslims don’t really acknowledge or talk about enough, and that’s the effort reverts put into learning the Islam.
We celebrate their shahadah videos. We share “welcome to Islam” posts. But we rarely talk about what comes after.
This afternoon at work, I walked into the prayer room for Zuhr and saw a brother already praying. He had two rakahs left, so I quietly joined him.
While we were praying, I noticed a faint sound playing in the background. It sounded like it was coming from his phone or maybe a EarPods, but I wasn’t too certain.
After we finished, I completed the remaining two rakahs and I joined the next people that were about to pray Asr. He didn’t leave straight away and sat at the back of the room. He waited until I completed my prayer, then approached me.
He looked apologetic and said “This is the first time someone joined me in prayer and he wasn’t sure if I did it correctly.”
He mentioned he was following the recitation through his headset and seemed genuinely concerned that he might have made a mistake with how he led the prayer, being the first time. You could tell he had been thinking about it throughout.
I told him he did everything right. I told him I heard a faint sound playing in the background but couldn’t tell if it was him. I asked for his name and had a little chat about work. I could see the relief in his face.
What stood out to me wasn’t the technical correctness of his prayer but the sincerity and effort behind it.
He was so conscious about pleasing Allah, and not offending others in how he prayed, that he waited just to make sure he hadn’t done something wrong and to seek correction. He wasn’t casual about it. He wasn’t indifferent. He was intentional about it.
How many of us, born into Islam, carry that same conscious humility and intentionality?
We rarely speak about the weight reverts carry. The courage it takes to choose Islam.
The discipline it takes to learn from scratch, the pronunciation, movements, rulings. The quiet practice sessions. The YouTube video on repeat. The earphones or phone in prayer because they are still learning.
The quiet effort, the nervousness, the private struggle and striving to get it right. We don’t talk about that effort enough!
There is no time I listen to, read about, or meet a revert that I don’t learn from them.
Today encounter reminded me that guidance isn’t just about accepting Islam, it’s about striving every single day to grow in it to please Allah, and not wrong others.
May Allah make reverts and all striving Muslims steadfast upon this religion. May He reward our hidden effort, anxious questions out of sincerity, and grant us the understanding of it.
@azeezahofilorin The TL has gone from who fasts better to who prays better. Make everybody just rest and do their own thing. It's not a competition nah.
This morning, I just casually remembered when I started learning this AI automation thing…
Just me, my phone/laptop, random docs, YouTube videos, and a lot of trial and error..
No external ginger.
No like-minds at the start.
No one to say, "Bro, I tried this too… here's what worked."
Some days I was excited..
Other days I felt stuck and wondered if I was even learning the right way..
I was spending 8-10hrs daily on YT (yes you read that right)
But I joined a telegram group then, I met people..
people like @Aje_Dynamicz, and @I_amDamola and some others and we became buddies..
You see, skills grow faster in communities..
Not just a group where people post "good morning" and disappear…
But a space where:
+ You can ask "stupid" questions without being judged
+ People share workflows, ideas, mistakes, and wins
+ Learners and builders actually learn from each other
Lately, I've been thinking seriously about setting up a FREE WhatsApp community for anyone interested AI..
It's for both those learning and those already building stuff..
I spoke with a few persons who are already in the space, and they're down to be part of it..
But here's the thing…
I'll only go ahead if you guys actually want it..
So if you’re:
+ Learning AI automation
+ Building workflows (or trying to)
+ Or planning to freelance with automation
Like and re-tweet this post.
Comment "interested" below.
If we get enough response, the group will be live before this week ends..
Let's not learn alone anymore 🤝
Ps: I'm still thinking on what to call this community.. and I'm open to suggestions..
Again, We will eat good this year, if you put in the work.. 🍷
From Aug 1, I’m starting off a 30-day series for those who want to level up in the automation niche.
Will be sharing tips, use cases, client stuff, all the gems I wish I knew when I started building workflows, advanced features on Make & zapier.
If you’re in the automation space or looking to break into the automation niche, you don’t want to miss this.
