ceaser's relative

[gears and metals @Blue_mech1]

There is a friend of mine I usually hang out with years ago. In our neighbourhood, they were the only ones that had a television and gotv subscription, so it was not odd to find me and others relaxing at their place from time to time. me and this friend were close, so he would hand me his keys from time to time if he wanted to travel, in case his brother came back to town and needed to access the room. On this day, he prepared to travel as usual and gave me the key while i was watching a movie(i was there because our compound was having light issues), so I decided to sleep there because the place was well ventilated, breeze wan wound me. i went to my room and locked up the windows then returned to relax.
And on this day, I would realize that personal spaces have their own unique energies. I slept off more peacefully than I would in my own room and when morning came, i woke up to that same fresh breeze, but something felt off. I couldn't get up at all. I was lying on one side, so I just assumed I needed to relax in bed a bit more but I was already wide awake, I turned to the other side since that was the only type of movement I could manage, and I saw it, or her.
a skinny woman that was almost bald save for a few strands of hair, with pale skin and eyes that were so big they seemed to pop out of their sockets. She was lying next to me in a sideways position and staring at me as a lover would. She looked objectively ugly yet appeared oddly beautiful the longer I stared . This time I tried to move away, but I was stuck. This creature gently leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on my lips and all I could wonder was if this was a princess and the frog scenario but in reverse? No, I know what I saw earlier. How did she even get access to this room? I locked everything before going to sleep.
Did my friend also give someone another of his keys? As I pondered these questions, a bit of common sense soaked into me and I started to ask the important questions, "Even if she has a key, is this any way to wake up a stranger?"
I suddenly regained my mobility, and my first instinct was to put my hands on her neck and squeeze violently. I maneuvered into a position that would give me leverage as I tried to choke this person, who turned out surprisingly weaker than she appeared. Her face started to appear more beautiful as I choked her, the wind was coming in stronger and the curtains were waving more violently.
She scratched me on the face with her sharp claws/fingernails( I didn't really have time to check which one it was), and I pushed her away from me because I can't grapple with something that can scratch so deeply.
My eyes opened suddenly with me still on the bed, the wind was consistent with what I had just experienced, and the curtains were flailing in the same manner while rubbing over my face as they moved. it felt like everything reset and I was paralysed again, but this time it felt more real. The pain from the scratch on my face lingered as I rolled myself into a sitting position and reached for my phone to check the time, 6 am. There's no way its a dream this time, everyone knows you can't read what's on a phone in a dream. I scanned the room but nobody was present, the same atmosphere but a different reality. I pulled my gaze up to the door and saw it was bolted properly and still locked with the key, there's no way anybody came through there. The windows are all barred with iron protectors and there's no room for hiding. Did I just come out of a dream? Why was it so real?
And why does the pain from the scratch feel so real?
I quickly grabbed a mirror to inspect my face, and there it was. two faint scratch marks planted on my left cheek. It was not bleeding or deep but it was there for me to see. I sprang up towards the window to see if I could spot a cat or maybe a bat, but there was nothing there.
So a few questions that still beg an answer till today are,
did I scratch myself?
Was it the work of an animal?
Or was it really a succubus?
And if it was a succubus, what would it gain from coming at me like that?
Or maybe an alien(the form of her face looked similar to the popular aliens portrayal with a hint of Smeagol from The Lord of the Rings) and again, what was the purpose of that kind of approach?
I wonder if I traumatized her and she's out there reporting me to her friends. Maybe she's still out there sneaking into people's dreams and molesting them or maybe she is bound to this room. Every once in a while, I remember that event.

It's not even the disrespect that angers me, it's the insult on top of it.

After doing this to Igbo youths, you still expect us to join your army?

[Kemmy @dspkemo]

An African man living abroad said his bank card was blocked, so he went to the bank to find out why. Unfortunately, the bank didn’t give him any reason and instead called the police on him.

He said that when the police arrived, they arrested him, took him to the hospital, and locked him in a private room. When he asked the doctor why he had been brought there, the doctor told him he was having mental health problems.

@GeneralSnow_ Back in 2019, i used to hear about igbo men being put on missions with leaked logistics. The nigerian army is like an abbatoir . The eyes of igbo men..

[𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑮𝑬𝑵𝑬𝑹𝑨𝑳 𝑺𝑵𝑶𝑾 🇨🇮 @GeneralSnow_]

As much as I understand the patriotic angle of joining the military, why are Igbos singled out to be begged to join the army?
What about EFCC, Customs, Immigration, FRSC?
Why are we not begged to join these other institutions?

What is with thid constant begging?
If we are not joining, is it not our loss?
What is this sudden love for a region militarized?

People are dying like flies in South Sudan, where are the African leaders?
Africa is cursed to have such bad leaders😭

Stealing Africa's mineral wealth is all they know and care about.

Steal the money meant for decent roads and railways so flammable goods can actually be moved safely.

You create failed systems that force people into poverty. This often results in people making desperate and reckless choices just to get by.

And at the end of the day, they become victims of their environment and circumstances.

Doctors are currently on strike but it doesn't matter since it not Peter obi that's in power.

For those who don't speak or understand Yoruba, that bag of rice reads "Bag of Mercy".

Tinubu is using Nollywood actors to tell the destitutes that he's having mercy on them by giving them bag of rice and one loaf of bread.

This is how weaponisation of poverty works.

@dspkemo I can guess the gender of the customer based on how low thir empathy is towards this driver. They do not miss an opportunity to be cruel to people they think are beneath them

[Akwa Ibom 1st Son @ukocarter]

I'm putting this out for record purposes.

1. Tinubu removed forgery as a crime from our electoral offences.
2. Tinubu has dodged every debate.
3. Tinubu has removed touring nigeria to campaign from our electioneering.

It's Tinubu today, tomorrow, someone else will take it a little further.

They have the power and means to freeze and seize assets belonging to corrupt African politicians hidden in their countries, but they won’t, as long as it benefits them. Instead they become leverage, ready to be used the moment those politicians stop acting in their interests

[stache X. @ElStachioo]

The IMF probably can’t believe their luck with APC. They recommend policies that keep Nigerians poorer, and APC happily implements them.

Couldn’t have asked for a better partner.

[👑S.A.L.A.K.O🕊 @UnkleAyo]

A dishonorable family of vultures.

Keep defending them because of stanship. Look at how they're referring to your country like a game of chess.

In this "celebratory" moment where they're all giggling - 38 people died because of this family in that same week.

Nigerian pastors are corrupting the minds of a lot of girls

[Ozedikus Nwanne @Ozedikus]

They tell you Africa is poor because of corruption, but one thing the imperialists conveniently left out is that if you’re not willing to be corrupt, you might never get into power, could be assassinated or most definitely won’t stay in power for more than five years

[gears and metals @Blue_mech1]

@UnkleAyo Self idolatry. There is a reason they are obsessed with expensive wigs and makeup. To harvest as much worship as possible from men. A young boy of 16, 17 does not think of these things but his female counterparts have already started indulging in self-worship

@TheVine81 @io_ernest If you like, dont pay your taskers.

Mind you, this is the government in first term (hoping for a reelection) they have displayed that they will allow the islamist jihadists encroach to yoruba land aand from experience, second terms are usually worse than the first

How long must our people suffer before the government takes their security seriously?
