I have come to despise the binge model. It's harder to generate hype; platforms (@netflix!) cancel within weeks if it doesn't soar despite sparse advertising, and there's no time for word of mouth to get ppl invested.
This needs to change.

And you apparently have to do it in 30 days max or else they'll cancel the show before word of mouth can establish an audience.
@netflix is killing the entertainment industry, and after everything LA has gone through MORE creatives deserve jobs, not less!

The beginning of their incredibly cute dynamic. Edwin gives snark. Charles grins. Edwin responds with a shy but pleased smile.

(2) Yockey approached Warner Bros. and DC to create the show and bought the rights to it. If we get more seasons of #DeadBoyDetectives on another streamer or network, Neil Gaiman will receive no money, nor will he profit in any way.
Since Neil Gaiman is trending, it's important to say again: No, Neil Gaiman does not own Dead Boy Detectives. Steve Yockey and Beth Schwartz are the creators of the show, and Warner Bros. owns the copyright. 🧵 #DeadBoyDetectives
ONCE AGAIN!! he has explicitly stated that dead boy detectives is not his. it belongs to steve and beth, and warner bros. yes it stems from his work, yes it connects to the sandman, but it’s not just his anymore. so many talented people worked on it. do not let one name scare you
