Maize is steeped in aqueous sulfur dioxide to soften the kernel. The remaining constituents are further processed through grinding and sieving to separate starch slurry and fibre.

Our Yamunanagar plant is equipped with latest #automationsystem. We collaborated with @ROKAutomation to custom build an integrated plant. Rockwell’s distributed control system helps in expeditious decision-making process. Glad to have collaborated with Rockwell Automation!
Expansion at the Yamunanagar Plant involved increase in grinding capacity from 150 to 750 tonnes per day, manufacturing capacity of specialty starch, and setting up of maltodextrin plant. @SymagaSA designed and manufacture silos with the capacity of 18515 tonnes.
