Too bad summer in India means IPL, and that'll never change. But we need to always find a duration dedicated to test cricket in a calendar year. Otherwise what is this domestic test cricket tournament for?
So refreshing to be watching some test cricket again. It sucks that BCCI has fumbled this part so bad. With lack of atmosphere and infrastructure. Shitty viewing experience, zero venue legacy and yet so much money, BCCI are a chimp with a machine gun.
@GurpriyaSidhu It's a double edged sword really. It successfully removed the old gatekeepers, but it shifted the burden of quality control entirely onto the consumer. When anyone can publish anything, building our own mental algorithms to filter the noise is the most vital survival tool we have
Playing top-tier cricket at 15 is rare, but the age praise has to stop. He needs to be treated as an equal to improve. Plus, it's totally unfair to opponents who face a no-win scenario: either they "just got a kid out" or they "couldn't even dismiss a child."
I'm glad finally IPL has come to a close. But as it turns out, India will only play one test match in the rest of the 7 months that we left till the year end. That too against Afghanistan.
Sick of T20s
@Peroneal_ They probably get advised by their PR team to not engage/associate themselves with such events. Specially when it's something that spiralled from what they started.
TRAVIS HEAD'S WIFE ON THE ONLINE ABUSES. π£οΈ
"It feels like a repeat of the abuse that happened after the World Cup. I woke up to my socials blasting, they are attacking my friends and family. Passion will always be part of sport, but so is remembering there are real people and families behind the game. Hopefully this encourages more kindness and support for one another". (The Advertiser).
@ErikaMorris79 I'd say a blessing in disguise. The viewing experience in an Indian stadium is the worst. No hygiene in the toilet, no quality food except the shitty snack they sell or proper access to drinking water.
