this man on tiktok said “youcannot repair a relationship with a man who believes the problem is always your reaction, never his behavior” and that’s real shit.
I’m actually happier alone. Having anxiety and dating is so draining. You’re forever worried about if that person chooses you, if they even like you anymore, or even if YOU feel the same because of certain things you notice…. It’s draining and I prefer not to be drained
It's Saturday
I'm not pregnant
I'm not begging a man to be nice to me
December is 3 months away
I'm not typing a paragraph to anybody's son begging for love
Pampers is not a part of my monthly budget for now
Life's good. 🥂
Not an irk, but yesterday I offered a colleague of mine (30M) a lift to get food at FreshStop and asked him to put on his seatbelt. He genuinely didn’t know how to use it 😭 He literally pulled it out, hung it around his body and said, “It is fine like this?”
I had to help him with it and, honestly, that moment was painful to see. Not because he didn’t know how to use a seatbelt, but because it made me realise how easily we take certain things for granted.
So getting back to the irk: NO. Let’s not pick on men for not having cars. You genuinely have no idea what someone’s circumstances are, what they’ve had access to, or what they’re dealing with. A car is a privilege, not a measure of someone’s worth.
