Too many lives have been upended because of our failed approach to marijuana.
So today, the @TheJusticeDept is taking the next step to reclassify marijuana from a Schedule I to a Schedule III drug under federal law.
Here's what that means:

We don’t have the votes to legalize marijuana (yet!) – the SAFE Banking Act is a logical next step. New shops in legalized states like Minnesota should be treated like any other business.
Forcing them to operate cash-only is dangerous for the businesses and a pain for consumers.
“It affects [dispensaries’] bottom line, their access to capital and overall the ability to operate like a normal business. That is the biggest hiccup between being in the cannabis space and not being in a cannabis space.”

This is legalization done right. 👏🏻 👏🏾 👏🏿 Minnesota’s cannabis legislation didn’t just prioritize profit, but the lives of those most harmed by prohibition.

We're used to avoiding a misinformed comment section.
With @CaptainKurtis now on the Blunt Strategies team, we're looking to change the narrative on psychedelics.
It hurts to read the replies under this New York Times post regarding psychedelics in Minneapolis. Too many still associate psychedelics w/ hard drugs and the crime that accompanies that.
But there is hope and we've made a lot of progress in a relatively short amount of time.
