An Important Lesson from the Current War for the Islamic Ummah

In its current confrontation with the United States and Israel, Iran has practically proven this truth: if the full power of Muslims comes into play, and if we stand united, we can even reshape global rules in favor of Muslims. No power would then dare to kill Muslims, and even the end of Israel would become an inevitable and simple matter.

In addition to military strength, human resources, and global energy reserves, Muslims also control several key waterways besides the Strait of Hormuz: Gibraltar, Bab al-Mandeb, the Suez Canal, the Bosphorus, and even the Strait of Malacca. If these were closed for just one day, life across the world—especially in Europe—would essentially come to a halt.

Now tell me, if that were to happen, would anyone still dare to attack Muslim lands?! What is the obstacle? Corrupt, puppet, and fearful governments? That is true—but more important than that is the absence of a mindset that believes it is possible to stand against the United States.

As I have written before, this problem even exists among Sunni Islamists: although they know Israel cannot last even a day without the United States, despite their hatred for Israel, they still sit comfortably at the table with the U.S. and do not dare to confront it.

By downing advanced stealth F-35 jets as well as F-15 and F-18 aircraft, disabling the advanced USS Gerald Ford, attacking the USS Abraham Lincoln, and keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed for a month, Iran has demonstrated that confronting the United States does not necessarily require advanced air power. Through asymmetric warfare and by taking advantage of all opportunities, even superpowers can be defeated.

There are many lessons from this war for the Islamic Ummah. If biases allow, it can become a source of awakening. Relying on the people and striving for scientific, technological, and economic independence are what support Iran today—a path that has led to the development of military capability and social resilience in the face of threats.

150 million Shias will consider him a martyr. Many have already pledged to lay down their lives for him.

I think Trump and Netanyahu may have just unleashed forces that they don't quite understand.

🇮🇷 If Khamenei died in his residence, it can only mean one thing: he chose this death himself.

Those who seriously believe that he simply didn't think to go down to the bunker, or that his security service for some reason didn't think to protect him against the obvious preparations for war, have probably never met a person who is fanatically loyal to his idea and his religion.

I can only assume that he believed it was beneath his dignity to hide under a mountain and that he craved martyrdom.

I keep thinking about why Khamenei was not moved somewhere safer, a bunker, an underground location, somewhere unreachable. But then I realise that would have been a disservice to who he was. He was martyred in his office, working like any other day, fully aware that America could strike at any moment. He did not hide when death came to claim him!
