Halal is not a dietary requirement. It is an ideological requirement. No one who wants halal meat can tell the difference between halal meat and not halal meat. The digestive system cannot tell the difference. It's not like there is an allergy to non-hahal.

Given that halal means "slaughtered with unnecessary and extra cruelty", this is an ideological requirement that no public service in a civilized country should accommodate.
