Baltimore does not invest in equitable access to housing and instead is perpetuating a separate and unequal system.

Meanwhile, they want taxpayers across the city to pay for these TIFs over the next 20+ years without any information on who is benefiting. Make it make sense!

@ElectCogen, @MayorBMS, have the responsibility to do all within their power to protect their constituents - and their voters - by preventing evictions now.

@ElectCogen @DetreseDowridge But we can’t stop there. @MayorBMScott committed to allocate the $500K cut from Sheriff Anderson’s office over illegal eviction proceedings to Right to Counsel implementation – especially outreach & edu.
Since then, it’s been crickets - even after we sent this letter on July 15.
