Missed a couple:
Jake Golday, Central Arkansas (‘21-‘23)
Keagan Trost, Indiana State / Morgan State (‘19-‘23)
Travis Burke, Gardner-Webb (‘21-‘22)*
Jaden Dugger, Georgetown (‘22-‘23)
Bauer Sharp, SE Louisiana (‘21-‘23)
Jack Kelly, Weber State (‘21-‘23)
Andre Fuller, Pine Bluff (‘20-‘21)*
Cole Wisniewski, NDSU (‘20-‘24)
Evan Beernsten, SDSU (‘19-‘24)
Asterisks played 2 years but 1 was a redshirt. The rest played multiple seasons of eligibility. Plus a couple more players with just 1 year but it was their first year
Threw together some data about prospects who transferred this year, and which small schools they played at previously. Interesting to look at.
128 of the 257 draftees transferred at least once, many from G5 or FCS schools.
Let me know if I missed anyone:

@alexinsdorf99 As a gopher fan I was constantly checking in on him the past two years. The fans and media here turned on him so fast. I’m happy he took that step at Rutgers!
There were only 4 FCS players selected in the NFL Draft this year, but if you expand it to players who STARTED their career in the FCS, that numbers goes up to 15.
Add in:
- Jake Golday (Central Arkansas)
- Keagan Trost (Morgan State)
- Elijah Sarratt (St Francis PA)
- Travis Burke (Gardner-Webb)
- Jaden Dugger (Georgetown)
- Kevin Coleman (Jackson State)
- Bauer Sharp (SE Louisiana)
- Jack Kelly (Weber State)
- Andre Fuller (Arkansas-Pine Bluff)
- Cole Wisniewski (NDSU)
- Evan Beernsten (South Dakota State)
Two more who played in the FCS at one point:
- Keyshawn James Newby, Idaho 2023-2024 (Started NAIA)
- Karon Prunty, North Carolina A&T 2022-2024 (Started FBS)
Red Murdock is a STEAL for Denver
TO-forcing machine. Finished 2nd in D1 fumble in fumbles forced (6), and finished 1st each of the two prior years.
NCAA record for most career fumbles forced. Prototypical size, great tackler, non-stop aggression.
Keyshawn James-Newby is a great pick for Philly
Most pressures in the 2026 NFL Draft edge rusher class (out of 319 D1 draft eligible players):
1. Rueben Bain (83)
2. David Bailey (81)
3. Keyshawn James-Newby (74)
4. Akheem Mesidor (67)
I’ve watched a TON of Athan Kaliakmanis.
Took a big step forward this year with better mechanics, but even before that he flashed like crazy, was just a hair off.
Interesting late round bet for Washington!
Newest Commander Matt Gulbin is the center doing this to the Big Ten’s sack leader. ⬇️
Consistently physical, intelligent presence at the pivot. Incredible value at this stage in the draft in my opinion
Anterio Thompson wasn’t even on some mock draft simulators, but it shouldn’t surprise anyone he got drafted by Atlanta.
Plenty of disruptive plays this year, and one of the biggest winners of the pro day cycle.
6’2” 306
6’8 5/8” wingspan
4.73 40 (3rd out of 232 DT)
30 reps
Kevin Coleman is the most underrated WR in the draft. Home run pick for the @MiamiDolphins!!
Most important thing to know: In 2022 he won SWAC Freshman of the Year over his teammate, Travis Hunter.
Elite hands and feel for space, love it!
Karon Prunty off the board in the 5th! 6'2" corner, verified pro day times of 4.45, 6.82 cone drill. Loved him at the Hula Bowl, looked the part there against a lot of fringe-draftable guys
Nicholas Singleton to @Titans:
First Big10 player since Jonathan Taylor with 5k all-purpose yards and 50 touchdowns in his career.
Big, athletic, experienced. Not worried about his down year this past year. He’ll stick around the nfl for a while
Emmett Johnson is the shiftiest running back in the draft, easily.
Massive production this year, and @PFF’s leader in Missed Tackles Forced with 68. Great receiver and vision as a ball carrier, too.
LOVE that pick for the Kansas City @Chiefs
VERY surprised Keith Abney fell this far. Arguably a 2nd round talent.
44.4% receptions allowed, just a 46.1 rating. Does it with quick feet and physicality.
Size questions as an outside guy but the production and mentality are there
Jager Burton entered the season as my #2 center prospect, I’ve always loved his game. Twitchy, bursts off the line. Solid anchor. Put up an elite 4.52 shuttle at his pro day to go with his 4.94 combine 40 at 312 pounds.
A TON to like for @packers!!
