THE REAL PROBLEM WITH THE INDIAN OPPOSITION
Let's be honest. The biggest problem with the Indian opposition is not Narendra Modi. It is the opposition itself.
The problem is not that we are outnumbered. The problem is we are not united. And worse, we don't even WANT to be united.
Every single voice in the opposition today believes he is a revolution in himself. Every podcaster, every Twitter intellectual, every self-declared activist thinks he is the final word on secularism, on caste, on fascism, on gender. There is no SANGATHAN, there is only ego. Everyone wants to lead, no one wants to follow.
Many people who portray themselves as anti-Modi, anti-BJP are themselves deeply bigoted.
They will abuse BJP for its Manuvaad, but they themselves will never let a Dalit or OBC lead them. They will speak against Hindutva patriarchy, but they will not give an inch of space to women, to trans persons, to gender minorities. They talk about Muslim rights, but the moment a Muslim asserts independently, they get uncomfortable.
Every opposition supporter today thinks he is doing a favour to India by speaking up. He thinks he knows more than the leader he claims to support. He thinks he is more intelligent than the common man who is facing ED, CBI, bulldozers and jail.
90% of the people in the so-called anti-BJP space are opportunists. They are not here for ideology. They are here because they didn't get a deal from the other side. One day they are Ambedkarite, the next day they are Gandhian, the third day they are justifying Savarkar to look balanced. They keep changing their ideological fathers as per convenience. Very few are actually ideological. Very few are actually facing real brutality on the ground.
This is why I say, Rahul Gandhi remains the LAST TRUTH.
Not because he is perfect. But because he is consistent.
He is the only leader who aligned to one ideology and refused to switch despite the cost.
What does he stand-
1. Mohabbat Ki Dukaan:
When the entire opposition was trying to become A-team or B-team of BJP by doing soft-Hindutva to win one extra vote, he opened his shop and said - "Nafrat ke bazaar mein Mohabbat ki dukaan kholni hai." He chose love when hate was profitable. That takes moral courage.
2. Darro Mat:
This entire system runs on fear. Fear of agencies, fear of being trolled, fear of losing image, fear of media. He stood up and said, I am not afraid. They took his house, put cases on him, abused him and his family for 20 years non-stop, and he still walked 4000 km from Kanyakumari to Kashmir saying Darro Mat. Bharat Jodo Yatra was not an election rally, it was a psychological battle against fear.
3. The question of 90% vs 10%:
BJP for 10 years made us debate what we eat, what we wear, which temple, which mosque. Rahul brought the country back to the real question - Who owns India? He raised Caste Census, he raised Jitni Abadi, Utna Haq. He asked, How many Dalits, OBCs, Adivasis in the top 200 corporates? How many in media ownership? How many in judiciary? How many in the bureaucracy? He made caste and economic inequality the centre of politics again. That is the biggest ideological shift after Mandal Commission.
4. The Constitution as a living document:
For him, Constitution is not a book to be waved in Parliament. It is a weapon for the last person in the line. Protection for every minority, religious, caste, gender.
He is not searching for a new ideology every election. He is being attacked precisely because he is consistent.
Until and unless this opposition stops thinking it is smarter than Rahul Gandhi, stops using him as a punching bag to look neutral to the BJP ecosystem, and aligns itself to his core ideas of Love, Fearlessness, Caste Justice, and Constitutional Morality, everything else is just noise.
The opposition does not need more heroes.
It needs to have the humility to stand behind the one man who is already taking all the bullets for everyone.
And she’s on Instagram! ❤️🎀
Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji makes her Instagram debut, sharing a glimpse of her book Belonging: A Journey of Love.
Welcome to Instagram, Sonia ji! 🌸
When Rahul Gandhi joined the protests last time, he was badly manhandled by the police. He was detained as well.
At his press conference someone asked him about his injuries.
His reply was simple. “I am not the story.”
He kept talking about the students and why Dharmendra Pradhan should resign. He continues to question Amit Shah and raise these issues even today.
Meanwhile some people are busy making themselves the story. Everything is about their detention and what happened to them.
Nobody is denying their struggle.
But remember. You were never the story. The issue was always bigger than you.
A leader fights for the cause. He does not become the cause himself.
Otherwise it is just a PR exercise.

20 years old girl is harrassed all day & her account suspended. I'm glad to see many of you spoke up but this should end now for once and all. It's difficult being women on social media already, don't make it more difficult 🙏
And yes it's HARRASSEMENT. Say what is it exactly.
@singh_kikki You should be ashamed of yourself for using such words you could have written anything else instead but you chose to reveal your own mindset sahi bolte hai.....a woman is often another woman’s worst enemy
