Correction: QatarEnergy statement on a missile attack on a fuel oil tanker
QatarEnergy confirms that the Aqua 1, a fuel oil tanker on charter to QatarEnergy, has been the subject of a missile attack in Qatar’s territorial waters in the early morning hours of Wednesday 1 April 2026.
None of the crew members on board were injured, and there is no impact on the environment as a result of this incident.

New from @CBSNews - on the 6 U.S. troops who died at Shuaiba port in Kuwait: no U.S. C-RAM. The incoming warning system would sound late. Some do not recall the siren prior to the deadly attack. Troops asked for more drone defeat capabilities, none came. It was recommended that the makeshift tactical operations center not be used because it was hard to defend and concentrated too many troops in one place.

TAMPA, Fla. – As of 4 pm ET, March 2, six U.S. service members have been killed in action. U.S. forces recently recovered the remains of two previously unaccounted for service members from a facility that was struck during Iran's initial attacks in the region.
Major combat operations continue. The identities of the fallen are being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.
