@calmitdown @S14deane @CurseIsntReal IMO it sounds like the "Destiny: Infinite" model rumor was true about being greenlit and this is the start towards that. Smaller team un-vaulting content and another working on future content. Releasing un-vaulted content as its ready in packs is likely.

@PaulTassi I'm curious about this cause wouldn't it just take turning them on and off or set something to auto do it for them at the dates? They wouldn't need to make new gear for it currently maybe in the future. Hypothetically would just need a loot pool from across the events history.

@anacondaofdeath @PaulTassi Splitting the game IMO would be another step backwards. "Infinite" with un-vaulting and pulling D1 content would be a way to go safely forwards. I playing heavily and agree Sunsetting was the easily the biggest mistake. I get the reasoning but that drove most away.

@PaulTassi Infinite forest can come back as well right? I would love to see them overhaul it to somehow be more like nightmare dungeons from diablo 3. There was so much potential there with the vet running endless simulations on us and how we beat bosses.

@MPFirst We don't know the exact details currently but this does sound like the rumors of the "Infinite" model being greenlit were true. Bring vaulted content out of the vault slowly in patches with a smaller team over time alongside another team working on the next expansions.

Bungie has a LONG road ahead of them. Best thing the Destiny community can do is be patient at this point.

@Gothalion I welcome the news we got today! I have high hopes but also have doubts. They have a bit of work in front of them to regain the communities trust. It's not going to happen overnight and they need to put in the effort to do so. Only time will tell how the game moves forwards.
