Hillary Clinton on Gaza:
I'm gonna say something positive about Trump:
Trump's 20-point plan for Gaza is actually a pathway to security for Israel, reconstruction for Gaza, and the possibility of self-determination for the Palestinians.
There are a lot of people who reject it because Trump did it, but it's the only game in town. There's nothing else.
President @TokayevKZ received @BoardOfPeace Senior Advisor @lightstonea. President @TokayevKZ noted the significance of 🇰🇿 participation in the @BoardOfPeace and emphasized our country's commitment to building fruitful cooperation within the framework of the organization.
Egypt's contributions will help the #ISF scale up operations to create a safer & more secure Gaza. As a country sharing a border with Gaza, the participation & leadership of Egypt in this shared effort is critical to mission success.
The #ISF welcomes its newest liaison officers, Maj. Gentrit Idrizi and Maj. Labinot Lala, from the Kosovo Security Force. Kosovo is sending its best to facilitate critical information flow between the ISF & their nation. Their integration into the ISF staff builds our international coalition of personnel, advancing security & stabilization efforts for the Board of Peace.

This FT article tries desperately to sow doubt about the commitment of the US and partners to the Board of Peace. They cite just one of many funding mechanisms that to date has not been utilized by the donor community. They do, however, acknowledge that BoP is being funded through other mechanisms. In typical form, they included this in the top of the story but then proceeded with the narrative they wanted to push all along.
FT Exclusive: Four months after its establishment, the organisation’s financial fund set up by the World Bank has received no money from donors, according to four people familiar with the matter. https://t.co/yzANaf2mVN
Today, @nmladenov briefed the @UN Security Council on the roadmap designed by the int'l mediators & @BoardofPeace to implement President Trump's Gaza Peace Plan. This roadmap is based on holistic compliance, reciprocity & accountability. It moves Gaza toward reconstruction & self-governance. It provides for security & offers dignity. It is a roadmap that all parties should accept immediately & implement fully.
Following today’s #UN Security Council briefing, I am publishing the core elements of the proposed 15-point “Roadmap to Complete the Implementation of President Trump’s Gaza Comprehensive Peace Plan” in plain language.
• Points 1–5: Principles
• Points 6–11: Security
• Points 12–14: International Stabilization Force and IDF Withdrawal
• Point 15: Reconstruction
A thread (1/16) 🧵
Unacceptable and shameful! I join the universal condemnation of Minister Ben-Gvir for his undignified taunting of detained activists. These abhorrent acts distract from the urgent work of implementing President Trump's Comprehensive Plan for #Gaza, advancing reconstruction for #Palestinians, and ensuring security for #Israel. Everyone must end the theatrics and focus on results.

The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza hosted a meeting bringing together Commissioner-General @AliShaathNCAG and a number of the Committee’s Commissioners with European Union ambassadors accredited to the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the presence of Finland’s Ambassador Mrs. Riikka Eela @FinlandinEgypt , Norway’s Ambassador Mr. Erik B. Husem @NorwayAmbEgypt , and Denmark’s Ambassador Mr. Lars Bo Møller @DKAMBinEgypt , alongside a number of representatives from European diplomatic missions.

Positive and substantive discussion with PM @netanyahu on the path ahead. We all reaffirmed our commitment to the full implementation of President Trump’s 20-Point Comprehensive Plan. Working with all sides to turn commitment into concrete actions. This will require decisions for progress. We keep moving forward in the interest of a better future for Israelis and Palestinians.
The Board of Peace’s Tony Blair addressed the @UN Security Council & urged countries to increase their financial support for BoP backed humanitarian and recovery efforts in Gaza.
Since ceasefire, about 293,600 metric tons of aid – equivalent to approximately 21,000 truckloads – collected by UN and partners from Gaza crossings. 72% up compared with pre ceasefire. Determined to maximize neutral, lifesaving aid that is urgently needed.
@UN@BoardOfPeace
Any claim that the CMCC is closing is wrong. The CMCC is advancing its efforts every day to continue delivering aid at a level unprecedented in modern history:
- Food aid is reaching 3x more people than before
-Aid diversion has dwindled from 90% to less than 1%
- According to the United Nations, nutrition has improved dramatically
The CMCC also has played a critical role in advancing security. The ceasefire has continued to hold despite all the predictions from so-called experts. We now have a pathway to the establishment of a transitional government in Gaza and the International Stabilization Force. Quite simply, life for the people of Gaza gets better on a daily basis. The CMCC has been an essential part of this story and will continue to be mission critical to our efforts.
A US military-run center near Gaza that critics say failed in its mission to monitor the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and boost aid flows to besieged Palestinians is set to be shut by the Trump administration, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters https://t.co/U2pihoUJwd
Since the ceasefire last October, the Board of Peace has SIGNIFICANTLY scaled up support for the people of Gaza. Food aid is reaching 3 times more people than before. Hamas’ theft of aid has dwindled from 90% to less than 1%. According to the United Nations, nutrition has improved dramatically.
We are currently hard at work on the next critical step in Gaza’s recovery: finalizing the process by which Hamas decommissions its weapons and allows for the transition to a new government that will lead the redevelopment of this war-torn region. This will allow us to accelerate aid and rebirth.
The “flotilla” heading to Gaza is the performative love-boat activism of people who know nothing of and care even less for the condition of Gazans. It is distasteful to trade on the misery of people to build your social media profiles.
For those actually wanting to help Gaza, here is a suggestion: use whatever influence you have to maintain the pressure on Hamas so they fulfill their obligations to pave the way forward for the communities they destroyed. If you would like to contribute to the recovery, we welcome support through established humanitarian channels coordinated by the Board of Peace, the United Nations, and the World Bank, so that your contributions reach those who deserve and need our aid.
Appreciative of the backing of @kajakallas for the Board’s U.N.-mandated role in Gaza and the support of the @EU_Commission for the efforts of @nmladenov and the Board’s mediators to secure the decommissioning of Hamas’ weapons.
@EspenBarthEide is correct. @NCAG is ready to step in & lead the surge in aid and reconstruction in Gaza once Hamas agrees to the decommissioning of weapons.
The AHLC in Brussels marked an important step in consolidating international alignment around UNSC Resolution 2803 and President Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan for Gaza. We are thankful for the support the Board received from European and other partners. We are working with the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza to translate this backing into tangible progress on the ground.
