Pitt County is a vibrant, rapidly growing community. As we continue to grow, we must weigh how to grow into the place we want Pitt to be & ensure future development is sustainable & improves quality of life for all people in all parts of Pitt—including the places often forgotten.
As Commissioner, I'll assess how projects affect the broad range of people living in Pitt.
⏺️ Who will benefit vs. be left out?
⏺️ How can we improve the quality of life for everyone in our county?
⏺️ How can we make Pitt a place where newcomers want to stay & build their lives?
Did you know that if you’re voting in North Carolina you have a right to vote with or without a photo ID? Here’s what you need to know about the new photo ID requirement:
You have lots of options for ID - including a driver’s license, a free ID from your county board of elections, over 100 state university and government employer IDS, and military IDs - so bring what you can and go vote!
If you get told you can’t vote, ask for the ID Exception Form and cast a provisional ballot with the form. State law requires ballots submitted with valid exception forms to be counted, so don’t leave without voting!
If you aren’t allowed to vote because you don’t have an ID, don’t leave the voting site! Call us at 1-833-VOTE4NC (1-833-868-3462) and our volunteers will help you immediately.

I believe we can improve the quality of life for *all people* in *all parts* of Pitt County. As County Commissioner I'll prioritize this by:
🍎adequately funding our public schools
📈rebuilding the “Main Streets” of forgotten communities
🚍making county services accessible to all
I voted early today and had the unusual experience of voting for myself.
It was never part of my plan to run for office, but I'm running to improve the quality of life for *all people* in *all parts* of Pitt County, especially the communities that are often left behind.
The ECU Dems are out working! The early voting site at the Student Center is already over 325 with probably another 50 in line!
Big turnout and lots of support for Democrats!
